How Weller's Environmental LLC handles information, how this site uses cookies, and the terms for using it.

Privacy policy

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a pickup request, quick request, or contact form, call us, email us, or text us, we may collect:

  • Your name, company or facility name, phone number, and email address
  • The service you need, the pickup location, approximate volume, schedule, and details about the material, how it is stored, and site access
  • Any documents or information you choose to share, such as lab results, waste profiles, or receiving facility requirements
  • The content of your messages and our communications with you

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the companies that host and deliver the Site automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. This information is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and troubleshoot problems. We do not currently use analytics or advertising tracking tools on the Site. If that changes, we will update this page.

Information from others. We may receive business contact information from customers, contractors, receiving facilities, referral sources, or public business sources in the normal course of arranging and performing work.

How we use information

  • To respond to requests and questions, prepare quotes, and schedule and dispatch pickups
  • To perform, document, and bill for services, including load records and related paperwork
  • To communicate with you about your request, schedule changes, and service updates
  • To confirm what a receiving facility may require for a material
  • To meet safety, legal, regulatory, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations
  • To protect the Site, our business, and others, including preventing spam, fraud, and misuse
  • To improve the Site and our services

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to run our business and provide services:

  • Service providers that work on our behalf, such as our website host (Netlify), our form-processing provider (Basin), and our email, phone, and text messaging providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Parties involved in your job, such as receiving facilities, generators, site owners, and contractors, when needed to schedule, perform, or document the work you request.
  • Government agencies and legal requests, when required by law, regulation, permit, subpoena, or court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers, if Weller's is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may transfer as part of that transaction.
  • With your permission, for any other purpose you approve.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Requests that do not become jobs are kept for a reasonable period so we can follow up and answer later questions. Records tied to hauled loads, invoices, and regulatory documentation may be kept longer where law, permits, contracts, or insurance require. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, and the Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as Social Security or financial account numbers, through the Site.

Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to information we must keep for legal, regulatory, or business recordkeeping reasons.
  • Communications. You can ask us to stop emailing or texting you at any time. See Text messages below.
  • State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. Where those laws apply to us, we will honor them. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
  • Global Privacy Control. Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information in that way.

To make a request, email info@wellersenvironmental.com or call 814-979-6591. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time and within any period required by law.

Business contacts

The Site is intended for businesses, municipalities, and other organizations. Much of the information we receive is business contact information about employees and representatives of those organizations, and we handle it as described on this page.

Children

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

The Site may link to or embed content from other websites and services, such as Google Maps. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Text messages

If you give us a mobile number, we may send text messages related to your request or job, such as scheduling, arrival windows, and service updates. We do not send marketing text messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them.

  • Message frequency varies with your request or job.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also call 814-979-6591.
  • Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of doing business with us.
  • We do not share mobile numbers or text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include browser storage that keeps small pieces of information on your device.

  • Strictly necessary. Our hosting and delivery providers may use technologies needed to deliver the Site securely and reliably. The Site cannot work properly without them.
  • Browser storage. The Site may use your browser's local storage for small conveniences, such as remembering part of a form you started. This information stays on your device.
  • Embedded maps. Our Contact page includes an embedded Google map. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect information under Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Analytics and advertising. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, we will update this page and, where required by law, ask for your consent.

You can block or delete cookies and clear browser storage in your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect how the Site works, such as the embedded map.

Terms of use

Using the Site

You may use the Site to learn about our services and to contact us. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by sending spam or false requests, attempting to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, interfering with the Site's operation or security, introducing malicious code, or copying or scraping the Site's content in bulk.

Information on the Site

Content on the Site is general information about our services. It is not legal, regulatory, environmental, or engineering advice. Services, service areas, and descriptions may change without notice, and we do not guarantee that everything on the Site is complete, current, or error-free.

Requests and quotes

Submitting a form, calling, or emailing us does not create a contract or a confirmed booking. A pickup is scheduled only when we confirm it with you. Any quote is an estimate based on the information provided and may change if the material, volume, site conditions, access, timing, or receiving facility requirements differ. Services we perform are governed by the terms we agree to for that work, such as a quote, work order, invoice, or service agreement, which control over this page if they conflict.

Materials we accept

We transport non-hazardous liquids only. We do not accept hazardous waste as defined under federal or state law. The customer or generator is responsible for accurately describing and classifying its material, providing any required testing, profiles, or documentation, and telling us about anything that could affect safe handling. We may decline, delay, or stop any job if we reasonably believe a material is hazardous, misdescribed, or cannot be accepted by the receiving facility, or if site conditions are unsafe.

Service area and availability

The Site lists the counties we regularly serve. Availability depends on scheduling, equipment, weather, road and site conditions, and receiving facility acceptance, and is confirmed for each job.

Our content and trademarks

The Site, including its text, design, graphics, logos, and the Weller's Environmental name and marks, belongs to Weller's Environmental LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission, except to view and share links to the Site for normal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties about the Site, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weller's Environmental LLC and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to one hundred dollars (US $100). This section applies to use of the Site only; liability for services we perform is governed by the terms agreed for that work.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weller's Environmental LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these terms, or inaccurate information you provide about a material or job.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute related to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Bedford County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part is not a waiver. We may update this page at any time; changes take effect when posted, and the effective date below will change.
